Cassius has been a regular performer at Tui Brewery events over a number of years, from Big Boys Toys in Auckland, to music events at the brewery itself. We had heard about Cassius from some friends who had heard them play. From the minute we contacted them it was all very easy. Their website was great, the song list was perfect for our wedding and the logistics were all taken care of. Most importantly on the night they absolutely rocked it! From the first dance to the grand finale the entire room was loving every minute. There was a great mix of music for everyone to get involved and they kept the crowd interaction throughout. Just a quick note to say thank you again for the epic performance at our wedding – almost 2 months ago! We were so happy with how it all went down and I personally couldn’t get enough of the dance floor. Later in the night I (vaguely) recall telling Torben to “just pay them more!” to keep going as I was so devastated it was all over. I honestly loved it and I know the other guests did too. FAQs

There are several factors which determine the cost of hiring Cassius, including: size of the event, type of event, distance from Auckland, and if extra costs such as lighting and staging are involved. Feel free to email us at cassiuscovers@gmail.com with details about your event and we’ll get back to you straight away with a quote.

Normally we’ll play for 3 hours with one break in the middle. For an extra fee, we’re happy to play for longer.

Normally 3 months in advance is sufficient, although we’ve played many gigs at short notice. If you have an emergency and urgently need a great covers band, email us at cassiuscovers@gmail.com or phone 021496844 to see if we’re available!

Of course! We currently have over 90 songs on our list, and we normally play 40-50 during a gig. Feel free to choose your favourite songs from our song list and we’ll make sure to include them in the set.

Yes, we’ve frequently played in places such as Bay of Islands, Tauranga, Whitianga, Kaukapakapa, Matakana and Taupo. We normally factor travel into the cost of out of town gigs.

Yes, for a small fee we’re happy to learn extra songs, such as a “first dance” for a wedding.

Yes, we have our own PA system which we’ve used for events of up to 800 people. We also have all of our own backline equipment (drums, guitars, amps).

Many of the venues we’ve played at have their own lighting, but we’re happy to provide lighting equipment for an extra fee.

It’s normal for dinner to be provided for the entertainment at corporate events and weddings.

Yes, we normally require a $500 non refundable deposit at the point of booking.
